He and his wife Casey were together for 31 years and had a daughter, Taylor, together.Joe was known for his humor, strength and dedication to his family. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2005 and fought all the way until his passing. His strength and determination to fight through the many different battles with his MS was an amazing feat. We will remember him as the strongest man we have ever known and will always admire his fight through very difficult times.His illness never defined him. He did not want to have a service and wanted to be remembered in good times. The family would like to thank Scripps Health of San Diego, Mission Hospice & Home Care in Riverside County, and Integris Hospice of Oklahoma City for all of their support and services over the years.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
