Joseph Tipton Slaughter

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joseph Tipton Slaughter of Johnson City, Tennessee, whose life came to an end on March 8, 2026 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tipton Slaughter and Margie Barbe Slaughter. He is survived by: his children, Suzy Deneen (Scott), Chris Slaughter (Angie) and Molly Lenhart (Mark). He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Boones Creek Christian Church (2684 Boones Creek Rd, Johnson City, TN 37615). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
