Joseph "Lolly" Richards

Joseph A. Richards, age 69, of Stratford, Connecticut, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in the Bridgeport area, Joseph lived a full life in Stratford, where he remained close to his roots and the community he cherished. He was a man of deep faith who found great joy in his family and his church family at Calvary New Testament Church of God.

He leaves behind family and friends who will remember him for his warmth, steadfast spirit, and the quiet strength he showed throughout his life. Joseph will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of his life was held on March 20 and 21, 2026 at Calvary New Testament Church of God in Bridgeport, with interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Bridgeport.
