Joseph McKoy

Joseph McKoy, 59, of Canandaigua, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on July 29, 1966, in Elizabethtown, North Carolina, he was the son of Joseph McKoy and the late Marylee (Willoughby) McKoy.

For many years Joey worked as a mason with Local Union #3 in Rochester, New York. He took great pleasure in fishing, hunting, playing pool, and cards, and he was known for his clean, sharp appearance and sense of style.

He is survived by his companion, Jennie Giguere; his best friend, Rosa (Carter) McKoy; his children, Sammon, Tye, and Shaney McKoy; his brothers, Robert (Kelly) McKoy, Willie (Selena) McKoy, Lewis McKoy, Rondell Singletary, Curtis (Kristy) McKoy, and Johnny Lopez; his sisters, Tina Lawrence and Gloria Allen; and four grandchildren. Joey was predeceased by his brothers Angelo DeLripple and Cardell Singletary, his sister Rosemarie Singletary, and several aunts and uncles.
