Funeral service for Joseph Maxwell Harris, III of Marksville will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Pastor Joshua Augustine / Veron James officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Mary’s Congregational Baptist Cemetery in Marksville.

Joseph Maxwell Harris, III, age 22, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

Those left to cherish his memory are mother, father, brothers, sisters, maternal grandfather, aunts & uncles, great aunts & uncles, brothers & sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, & cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, paternal grandparents, maternal grandmother, aunt, and uncle.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am until 11:00am on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.

The family wishes to thank the following for their exceptional care of Joseph, L&D Community Care, Harbor Hospice, Avoyelles Hospital, Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Rapides Specialty Clinic, and the friends and family who have supported him over the years.

Repast will be held at the Bethune Community Center Gymnasium, 551 Martin Luther King Blvd, Marksville, LA 71351.
