Joseph L Tekampe

Joseph L. Tekampe, 62, of Milwaukee, passed away on March 13, 2026 at his home. Born on March 21, 1963, he was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Immaculate Conception Grade School in 1977 and from Waukegan East High School in 1981.

Joe was a proud United States Marine, serving from 1982 to 1986. The discipline and values he gained during his service deeply shaped the man and father he became. Whether enjoying the outdoors, playing on the softball fields, or gathering at the billiard tables, he embraced life fully and made certain his children always knew they were loved.

He is survived by his children, Matthew, Zackery, and Josephine Tekampe; his brothers, Charles and Patrick Tekampe; and his nieces and nephews, Sullivan Tekampe, Amanda (Matt) Duntemann, Jessica Tekampe, Charles Tekampe, Jr., Anthony (Olivia) Tekampe, Elizabeth Tekampe, Melissa Tekampe, Rosemary Tekampe, Tyler Daly, and Dillion Daly. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Linda Tekampe, his mother Betty Behrens, and his brother Michael Daly.
