Joseph James Lania Jr. of Arlington, formerly of Belmont, passed away on March 1, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Sharon (Kennedy) Lania and the devoted son of the late Joseph J. Lania Sr. and the late Bernadette (Rizzo) Lania. Joseph was the cherished brother of Ann D’Aveni of Florida and New Hampshire.
He lived a life deeply rooted in family, first in Belmont and later in Arlington, where he remained close to those he loved. Joseph will be remembered for the quiet strength and steadfast affection he showed to his wife, his parents, and his sister throughout his years.
