Joseph Croak ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Easton on Mar. 17, 2026.Joseph John Croak, of Clayton, NC, formerly of Easton, MA passed away on March 9, 2026 after a short illness. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Virginia "Ginny" Croak and his three children: Amy Siegel of Easton, MA; Susan Zahry of Franklin, MA and her husband Khalid Zahry, and Timothy Croak and his wife Catherine "Cat" Croak of Norton, MA. He also leaves behind by six grandchildren: Connor, Sam, Caroline "Kai", Noura, Alia, and Xander; his brothers, Ed Croak (Jean) and Rich Croak (Anne), as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Catherine Croak and by his brother Bob.Originally from Westwood, MA, Joe is a graduate of Westwood High School (class of 1966) and Boston College (class of 1970). Joe earned an accounting certificate from Bentley College. He spent many years in government accounting.He was an avid Boston sports fan, always wearing the cap of one of his favorite teams. Joe was always a supportive father. Years ago, he coached his kids' sports teams and attended many musical programs/shows, supporting not only his kids but also the community.He continued to support his family by attending events, games, and shows for his grandchildren.A long time communicant of Holy Cross Church in Easton, MA, he served as treasurer of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.He enjoyed traveling with his wife Ginny. They loved taking cruises and especially their trips to Paris, Aruba, and Morocco.He loved to play golf, cook lobster and turkey soup, Sudoku puzzles and to spend time with his family.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Friday, March 20th at 10:00am from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington St . (Rte 138) Easton, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00am in Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase St. Easton. Interment will be held privately at a later date. Visiting hours for Joseph will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, March 19th from 4:00 to 8:00pm.
