Joseph Hughes

Joseph Hughes was born in Arlington, Virginia, on March 31, 1963, to Joseph and Nancy Hughes. He attended Hingham and Nauset High Schools, graduating in 1981. Joe built a career as a self-employed real estate agent and home inspector. He found great joy in time spent with family and friends, skiing, bonfires, seeking adventures, and being with his dogs. A kind and considerate man, he treated everyone with compassion and was always ready to help those in need.

Joe is survived by his mother, Nancy Hughes of Brewster, his sister Katie and her husband Craig Tarantino of Pembroke, and his sister Suzanne and her husband Jeff Parsons of Brewster. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews: Emma, Nicholas, Julia, and Daniel Tarantino, and Charlie, Carolyn, and Brian Brooks. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph L. Hughes Jr.
