Born on May 10, 1943, in Vidor, Texas, to Noah LeBlanc and Macey Granger, Joseph lived a life rooted in family and community. He is remembered fondly by those who knew him as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose quiet strength and steadfast presence left a lasting impression on everyone around him.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret LeBlanc; his children, Joseph LeBlanc Jr. and Angie of Buna, Troy LeBlanc and Tammy of Buna, and Wendy Smith and Nathan of Buna; his brother, Edwin LeBlanc of Orangefield; his sisters, Janet Chessher of Buna, Patricia Falgout of North Carolina, Linda Ward of Bridge City, and Edna LeBlanc of Bridge City; his grandchildren, Melissa Clark, Dru LeBlanc, and Samantha LeBlanc; and eight great-grandchildren. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Nolan LeBlanc and Gene LeBlanc; his sister, Tracy DeLome; and his grandson, Jared Jordan.
