He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Marie Hudson. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Lee Barns of Denton and Deborah Barns Hermon (Dave) of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Andrew, Kevin and Carrie; his siblings, Rene'Ochs (Dick) of Kirksville, MO, Resa Glenn (Dell) of Whitney, TX, Steve (Kathryn) of Denton and Rebecca Bird (Derek) of Denton; and his sister-in-law Debbie Reed (Buddy) of Egypt, TX. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Village Church (1106 W Oak St, Denton, TX 76201).
