Joseph E. Etter

Joseph Eric Etter, 94, of Lemasters, passed away on March 10, 2026, at his residence. Born on May 6, 1931, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Eugene and Mary Miller Etter.

A graduate of Lemasters High School and Penn State University, Joseph built a long career as an electrical engineer consultant, working with numerous companies across the United States and Canada. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1956. Joseph found great joy in farming, skiing, and sailing. He was a longtime member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a Mason.

He is survived by his two sons, Theodore Etter and Jordan Etter, his nephew Michael Milo Marchich, and his niece Elizabeth Marchich Myers. Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Sara E. Marchich.
