Joseph Ceravolo Jr.

Joseph Ceravolo Jr., 90, of Newark, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Geneva Living Center North.

Born in Newark on April 23, 1935, Joseph was the son of the late Joseph and Maria Murtari Ceravolo Sr. A graduate of Newark High School, Class of 1954, he married Mary DeMarco on November 19, 1955. Together they raised two children and shared a life rooted in family and community.

Joseph spent his career at Bloomer Brothers and later Foldpak, where he served as President of the local union. He was known for his steadfast dedication to his work and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; his daughter, Catherine (Jeff) Jinks; his son, Michael Ceravolo; five grandchildren, Joshua, Michael, Dillon, Taylor, and Mykayla; four great-grandchildren, Max, Leah, Ava, and Sydney; his sister, Mary Paliotti; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his five brothers, Santo, Frank, Antonio, Vincent (Jim), and Rocco.
