Joey passed on March 6, 2026.Joey was born on May 22, 1978, in Cortland, NY, to his loving parents, Judy and Arthur Pietro. The oldest of three children, Joey grew up surrounded by family who cherished him deeply. He attended Mount Herman Exceptional Student Center where they provided specialized education and therapies, and he was embraced by those who knew his warm spirit.There are some people who bring such a bright light into the world that even after they have gone, their light continues to shine. Joey was one of those people. His joyful smile could light up any room, and his presence could bring comfort and happiness to those around him. Through his life, Joey taught his family powerful lessons in patience, kindness, and unconditional love.Joey loved spending time by the river, visiting the zoo, and attending football games.He leaves behind many who will cherish his memory, including his loving mother, Judy Pietro; his father, Arthur Pietro, his siblings ,Tony "TJ" Pietro and Candice Cannon; and his devoted caretaker Keneisha White, who became like family.
