Joseph Anthony Percacciolo III, affectionately known as Jo Jo, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on March 13, 2026. He was 72. Born on January 23, 1954 in Cold Spring to the late Mary and Joseph Percacciolo, Joe was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Loretto Church. He graduated from Haldane High School and became a proud member of Teamsters Local 456, working for the family business, Joseph Percacciolo & Sons, as a truck driver for more than 35 years.
In his community, Joe was well known for running Pop’s Barn Sale in Cold Spring for many years. He cherished spending time with family and friends at the pool in Garrison, where he created countless memories with those he loved most. Joe also found joy in racing stock cars at Accord and Orange County Speedway and looked forward to his Friday nights at the office with the boys. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the many lasting friendships he built throughout his life.
Joe was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Lahey) Percacciolo, whom he married on May 23, 1981 at Our Lady of Loretto Church. He was the devoted father of Joseph Percacciolo, Tara Percacciolo, Robert Percacciolo and his wife Michelle, and Erin Percacciolo Wilson and her husband Kyle. He was the proud grandfather of eight cherished grandchildren: Riley Chiarella, Braelen, Raegan and Hartlee Percacciolo, Cody and Bennett Percacciolo, and Cohen and Ayden Wilson. Joe is also survived by his sister Joann Gair Wilson, as well as a large extended family of brothers- and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Percacciolo.
