December 10, 1965— March 13, 2026
Pearl River, NY
Joseph Anthony Brancatelli, Jr. passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 10, 1965 in Suffern, New York, he was the beloved son of Joseph Anthony Brancatelli, Sr. and Mary Brancatelli. From an early age he carried a quiet strength, a generous spirit, and a deep appreciation for the people that filled his life with meaning.
Joseph grew up in Pearl River, New York, attending St. Margaret’s School and graduating from Albertus Magnus High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he was a proud member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity and formed lifelong friendships. Twenty-five years ago he met the love of his life, Laura Healy, and together they shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
He found joy in playing sports, playing guitar, swimming, going to the golf range, a game of chess, walks in the park with his dog Daxter, attending sporting events, and traveling. Joseph’s love for the New York Yankees and the New York Giants was endless. Those who knew him will remember his kind heart, sense of humor, and the way he made others feel welcomed and valued.
He is survived by his fiancée Laura Healy and his siblings Salvatore Brancatelli (Maryanne), Mary Jo Brancatelli-Aman (Rick), and Barbara Ficarra (John). He was a devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart. The love he gave and the lives he touched will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
