Born in Morovis, Puerto Rico, Jose lived a full life before settling in Massachusetts, where he made his home in Quincy. He was the devoted husband of Maria I. Hernandez.
He is remembered as a loving family man who cherished his wife and the many lives he touched over the years. Jose leaves behind family and friends who will carry his memory with warmth and gratitude.
A funeral service was held at Iglesia Puerta de Salvacion in Dorchester, followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery.
