Jose Luis Banda, a devoted family man and beloved member of the Eagle Pass community, passed away on March 16, 2026, in Eagle Pass, Texas. Born on April 30, 1952, in the very city where he spent his life, Jose Luis was known for his unique character and the deep affection he held for his family.Throughout his life, Jose Luis remained fiercely loyal and close to those he loved, defining himself not only by his individuality but also by the warmth and strength he provided to his family circle. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Maria Banda, who stood by his side through the years. Together, they nurtured a large family, including their children: Rosa Maria Banda, Blanca Gladys Banda, Jessica Marisol Banda, Jose Luis Banda Jr., and Adolfo Banda. Additionally, Jose Luis is remembered fondly by his sister, Trinidad Banda, and brothers Leonardo Banda and Juan Banda.His legacy continues through his ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who carry forward the bonds and values that defined his life.Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitations at the Riojas Funeral Home, located at 1451 S Veterans Blvd, Eagle Pass, Texas. The first visitation will take place on March 18, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by another on March 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The burial service will be held later on March 19, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery, 1679 Flowers Drive, Eagle Pass.Jose Luis Banda's life was marked by a genuine love for his family and an unmistakable presence that enriched the lives of those around him.
