Jose “Joe” Reynaldo Reyna

Jose “Joe” Reynaldo Reyna was born on December 17, 1955, in Wharton, Texas, to Reynaldo and Teodora Reyna. He passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 70.

A proud U.S. Marine, Joe carried the values of service and duty throughout his life. He shared a deep and loving marriage with his wife, Erlinda, for 40 years until her passing in 2018. Family remained the center of his world, and he devoted himself to strengthening the bonds that brought him his greatest happiness.

Joe took special delight in cooking for those he loved, often gathering family and friends around a meal. His passion for travel created many cherished memories, yet nothing brought him more joy than the laughter and smiles of his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Erlinda Reyna; son, Reynaldo Reyna; brothers, Juan Gonzales and Jesse Reyna; and parents, Reynaldo and Teodora Reyna. Joe is survived by his son, Jonathan Reyna; sister, Mamie Gutierrez; brother, Rene Reyna; grandchildren, Alexis Hernandez, Christian Reyna, and Anazaya Reyna; and four great-grandchildren.
