He later built a life centered around family, dedication, and pride in his heritage.For more than 30 years, Jose worked as a butcher, a profession he took great pride in before eventually retiring after decades of honest and hardworking service.Above all, Jose was a true family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Virgina Ruiz, his eleven children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to carry on his legacy and the values he passed down.Jose found joy in the simple things in life. He loved cooking and sharing meals with his family, a way he showed his love and brought everyone together. He also loved his animals, his cowboy hats and cowboy boots, and was known for his skill with a rope. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He was rarely seen without a hat on and was a loyal fan of the Colorado Rockies. Jose also had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar, often sharing that joy with family and friends.Jose will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. His presence, stories, laughter, and traditions will live on through the many lives he touched.He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and all who knew and loved him.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
