Jordan Lynn McCoy, 33, of Christiansburg, Virginia, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on November 22, 1992, in Blacksburg, Virginia, to Lawrence “Rusty” McCoy and Tracy McCoy, he was the fourth of five children. Jordan graduated from Christiansburg High School in 2011. In 2016, he married the love of his life, Katie Corrine (Meadows) McCoy, and together they welcomed a son in 2017 and a daughter in 2021.

Jordan was a friendly, happy, and humorous man known for his kind and calm demeanor. He cherished time with family and friends, whether watching movies, playing video games with his son, or hosting tea parties with his daughter. A lifelong Iowa Hawkeyes fan, he played high school sports and later found joy playing in the Hope Valley Church softball league. He worked at Rowe Furniture for more than eight years, where his positive attitude and charming personality made him a favorite among coworkers. Jordan also volunteered with the IDA of the New River Valley, offering companionship to friends with disabilities and eagerly participating in their seasonal dances. He took great pride in his role as a chicken farmer, caring for his flock for many years.

Above all, Jordan was a devoted husband, father, and son who treasured his many close friendships. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Pat and Terry Foor, grandmother Evangeline McCoy, brother Marc McCoy, and sister-in-law April Meadows. He is survived by his parents, Rusty and Tracy McCoy; his sister Ashley (McCoy) Justus and her husband Rodney Justus and their two children; his brother Ryan McCoy and his wife Kaytlin McCoy and their two children; his sister Tara (McCoy) Underwood and her husband Evan Underwood and their daughter; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is also survived by his wife Katie, their son and daughter, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Bruce and Anita Meadows, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Aaron and Koren Meadows, Rebekah Meadows, Kevin and Emily Meadows and their two children, and nephew Riley Meadows and niece Alaina Meadows.
