Jonathan Shirey

Jonathan Shirey of Loveland, Ohio, passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 55. He was a loving husband of 27 years to Casey J. Shirey and a devoted father to Corey, Jacob, and Sydney Shirey. Jon was a caring brother to Gina (Mateo Britez) Shirey and JoAnna (Michael) Kozlina, a proud uncle to his many nieces and nephews, and a cherished nephew to William (Maureen, deceased) Roenigk, Howard “Bud” (Karyn) Roenigk, J. Richard (Mary Ann Berrian) Roenigk, Glenn (Linda) Roenigk, and Marijane (Joe) Dillon. He was also a lifelong friend to Gil (Susan) Adkins, Erik (Mary) Lorensen, Michael (Kristen) McSweeney, Jeffery (Nicole) Smith, and Ed (Jennifer) Miller.

Born to Virginia Shirey (née Roenigk) and the late Donald Shirey, Jon lived a life centered on the people he loved. His quiet devotion to family and friends left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
