He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mike Cox of Pampa and Sherry Cox; his grandparents, Elna Mae, Raymond Cox, Kathleen and Ernest Berry; his uncles, Donnie Berry and Raymond Cox, Jr.; his aunt Melinda Cox; his son Barrett Lee Cox of Amarillo; his sisters, Michelle Shedd (Logan) of Pampa and Jennifer Petroski of Pampa; his uncle Ronnie Berry (Berkley) of Frisco; his aunt Karla Berry of Pampa; his siblings' children, Ashton Shedd, Christopher Shedd, Harper Shedd, Madison Petroski and Riley Berry; and his cousins, Brandon Cox, Raymond Cox III, Bryson Cox and Cameron Cox.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Winegeart Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (300 W Browning Ave, Pampa, TX 79065). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Briarwood Church (1800 W Harvester Ave, Pampa, TX 79065). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1500 Duncan St, Pampa, TX 79065).
