Johnny Stephenson

Johnny Stephenson, born on May 20, 1955, in Tifton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at the age of 70. The son of Dale and Rudine Stephenson, he was reunited in peace with his parents, his brothers David and Brian Stephenson, and his sister Lisa Stephenson.

Johnny was a skilled commercial and residential painter whose work reflected his creativity and keen attention to detail. He found deep joy in fishing, collecting guns, playing video games, caring for his animals, and tending his gardens. Above all, he cherished the time spent with family and friends, offering a generous spirit and warm smile that touched everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his loving partner, Jean Willyard; his siblings, Gail Stephenson Harris and her husband John, and Karen Stephenson Smith and her husband Steve; and his children, Shawn Stephenson, Latrisha Stephenson and her husband Craig, Tj Stephenson, Clint Willyard and his wife Arana, Sonnie Sulkowski and her husband Chris, and Heather Sacik and her wife Shelle. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Katelyne Gessford, Jeremy Gessford and his wife Grace, Christian Gessford, Paisley Stephenson, Callee Willyard, Letty Willyard, Jacob Sulkowski and his wife Hannah, Joshua Reed and his wife Tara, and Kenlee Reed, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
