He is survived by: his children, Wayne Ollis (Eric Fields) of Elizabethton, TN, Douglas Warren (Lisa) of Portland, TN, Tamatha Guinn (Robert) of Newland, NC, Pamela Bolden (Rusty) of Hickory, NC and Melissa Andrews (Matt) of Elizabethton, TN; his grandchildren, Kimberly Harris (Levi) of Hickory, NC, Allen Townsend (Joyi) of Taylorsville, NC, Ashley Robinson (Zac) of Jonas Ridge, NC, Emily Potter (Jesse) of Roan Mountain, TN, Jonathan McDaniel of Valdese, NC, Kenneth McDaniel of Valdese, NC, Billie Gentry (Eric) of Minneapolis, Bobbie Ledford of Minneapolis and William Ledford (Melinda) of Roan Mountain, TN; and his siblings, David Singleton of Morganton, NC, Joe Ollis (Martha) of Morganton, NC, Rick Singleton (Deanna) of Morganton, NC, Marcella Crawford of Morganton, NC and Becky Smith (Jimmy) of Gameweld, NC. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Jonas Ridge Baptist Church (8256 Buckeye Hollow Rd, Newland, NC 28657). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
