He is survived by: his wife Judith Gainer of Salisbury; and his children, Carol Huntington (Stewart), Beth Yates, Jennifer Moss (Kevin), Joanna Lilya (Everett), Brett Overcash (Sumier) and Jonathan Overcash (Kathryn).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Poole Funeral Home (1970 Eagle Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189). A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ of Latter-Day Saints (3155 Trickum Rd, Marietta, GA 30066).
