He was born February 21, 1944 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Soloman Madkins and Mary (Bradshaw) Madkins.Johnnie served his country in the Army in Vietnam. He worked as a general laborer for Commercial Brick for many years. He enjoyed playing golf, dominoes, chess, fishing and hunting.He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Henry Madkins, and Pewee Madkins.Johnnie is survived by his children, Regina Madkins of Seattle, WA, Tina Madkins of OKC, OK, Felisa Montee and wife Gail of Claremore, OK, Tonya Madkins of OKC, OK, Timothy Madkins of Wewoka, OK, Bruce Tiger of Wewoka, OK, Travis Tiger of Wewoka, OK, Dominique Tiger of Wewoka, OK, Lori Tiger of Wewoka, OK; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren; sisters, Sally Jean Madkins of Bakersfield, CA, Vicky Farmer of Bakersfield, CA, Lutruel; brothers, Vernel Madkins of Chicago, Delroy Madkins of Bakersfield, CA, Keith Madkins of Bakersfield, CA, Lafayette Madkins of Bakersfield, CA, June Ray Madkins of Wewoka, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Memorial service is pending.Funeral arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
