Johnnie Francis Griffin

Johnnie Francis Griffin, age 48, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on March 11, 2026. Known for her contagious laugh, strong spirit, and generous heart, Johnnie was a devoted wife, mother, and woman of faith who faced life’s challenges with unwavering determination. She shared more than thirty years with her husband and best friend, Chuck Griffin, and found her greatest joy in life as a mother to her boys.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Biggs, and her siblings, Toni and Ernest III (Sonny). Johnnie is survived by her husband, Chuck Griffin; her sons, Dewayne Griffin and wife Alexis, and Joe Griffin and wife Summer; her mother, Katherine Biggs; and her sisters, Jo Ann, Alice, and Katie, along with many other loving family members.
