It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John-Michael Mayer of Goose Creek, South Carolina, born in Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his child Delta; his parents, Harold Mayer and Ruth Mayer of Walterboro; his significant other Carena Reausaw; and his pet Topaz. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Live Oak Cemetery.
