John was preceded in death by his brother Terry Alen Burton. He is survived by his parents, his three children, Joe Burton, Marshall Burton, and Angie Burton, and his three siblings, Sherry (Harold) Ujakovich, Danny Lee Burton, and Hollie (Don) Drew.
A man of Christian faith, John found joy in the restoration of old cars and, above all, in the company of his family and friends.
