In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Bache; brother, David Bache and sister-in-law, Susan Bache.After high school, he served in the Army as a cook. John worked as a Steel Mill in Pittsburgh. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. John was very handy around the house.John enjoyed watching TV, especially westerns. He was very interested in music and played anywhere from opera to country.John is survived by his loving life partner of 40 years, Evelyn Kelley; step-son, Joseph Kelley and wife Patty; step-daughter, Vickie Bartholomaus, California; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchild; and brothers, Alan Bache, Pennsylvania and Robert Bache, South Carolina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held privately at a later date.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
