John W. Nebzydoski M.D.

John W. Nebzydoski, MD, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 15, 2026. John received a BS degree from the University of Scranton, a PhD from the University of Florida, and received his MD from the University of Miami. John ran a family medical practice in Canastota for nearly 30 years. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville. John was an avid outdoorsman and loved traveling, walking, and biking. He had an amazing love for his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janice; his siblings, Henry, Mary (deceased), Michael, Joseph, Kathleen, Margaret, Andrew, Thomas and Bernadette; and many nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville. The funeral Mass will follow the calling hour at 11:00 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wanderer's Rest (an animal shelter), P.O.
