John W. Groskreutz

John W. Groskreutz, age 65, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, March 11, 2026.

Born on December 24, 1960 in Wild Rose, he was the son of Harvey and Beverly (Ernst) Groskreutz. A graduate of Wautoma High School, John spent his working life on the land, employed at Flegner Farms of Wild Rose, Del Monte Foods in Plover, Heartland Farm in Hancock, and most recently at Jim Daye Farms in Wautoma. He was a kind and sociable man who genuinely enjoyed talking with everyone he met. He took special pride in transporting local Amish community members to their destinations and found great pleasure in the outdoors, particularly hunting.

John is survived by his brother, Dave Groskreutz, and Dave’s special friend, Barb Siebert; his special friend, Sara Bargaehr (Renato); and by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Groskreutz.
