John W. Brennan III

John W. Brennan III, 70, of Waterford, passed away on March 8, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born and educated in Troy, he was the son of the late John W. Brennan Jr. and Mary Catherine Loucks Brennan.

John worked as a self-employed truck driver and owned and operated the former A&J Automotive Repair Service in Waterford. He took great pride in riding his Indian Motorcycle and cherished above all the time spent with his grandchildren.

He was the husband of the late Anita Ianuzzi Brennan, who died in 2025. He is survived by his sons, John W. Brennan IV of Waterford and Timothy Brennan (Casey) of Cropseyville. He is the brother of Jimmy Brennan of Troy, Maureen Cooney (Kevin) of Watervliet, Danny Brennan of Ft. Myers, Florida, Susan Brennan of Watervliet, and the late Michael Brennan. His sister-in-law, Lori Brennan of West Palm Beach, Florida, also survives him. John was the proud grandfather of Kailee, Juliana, Olivia, Sophia, Myla and Jaxon Brennan, Alicia Ruefle and Tiffany Peters. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
