John Woodcock ObituaryPublished by Legacy on Mar. 5, 2026.John Woodcock was born on October 30, 1952, the third of ten children, and grew up surrounded by the noise, joy, and closeness that come with a big family. On September 17, 1982, he married Janie, and together they blended their lives and their children-her three, his two-into one new family. In time, they welcomed two more daughters, completing a home filled with love and plenty of stories. After studying the Bible, John made the heartfelt decision to dedicate his life to his Creator, Jehovah, and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 2, 1983.John loved life deeply. He laughed easily, learned constantly, and never stopped exploring new skills, jobs, and hobbies.More than anything, John wanted others to know the hope that gave him strength: the promise of everlasting life on a paradise earth. Even in his final days, he used every opportunity to share that hope with those around him.We look forward to seeing him again-healthy, whole, and full of life-teaching resurrected ones about Jehovah, and tending a garden together with his family in the paradise he believed in so firmly."And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."Revelation 21:4Brookside Funeral Home & Crematory is caring for the family.
