John Riley Fulton

We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2026, at the age of 88, John Riley Fulton of Gatesville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. R. Fulton and Gracie Partridge Fulton; his stepfather H. A. Mathis; his parents-in-law, Dr. John and Francis Brown; and his sister-in-law Mabel Ann Brown Welsh.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Lee Brown; his sons, John David Fulton, Mark Lynn Fulton and Scott Austin Fulton; his grandchildren, Mary Kaherine Fulton, Alex Fulton (Shelby) and Sarah Isbell (Westin); his great grandchildren, Noah Milsap, Tahra Fulton, Bae Fulton, Norah Fulton, Harper Isbell and Joshua Fulton; his brother Bob (Nancy Pratt); his sibling's children, Jennifer Welsh Sebesta, Kim Pratt Lawrance and Jeff Pratt; and his close friends, Curtis Logan and Wade Sadler.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Scott's Funeral Home (2425 E Main St, Gatesville, TX 76528).
