Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his parents, Terry Reames and Cheryl Reames; his siblings, Billy Ray Jones (Christi) of El Dorado and Manda Reames Bricker (Ed) of Seymour, Texas.; and his siblings' children, Brendan Jones, Meghan Jones, Gracie Bricker and Sophie Bricker.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Young's Funeral Directors (508 Champagnolle Rd, El Dorado, AR 71730). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arlington Memorial Park (702 N Mosby Ave, El Dorado, AR 71730). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in John's memory to the Immanuel Baptist Church building fund in El Dorado, Arkansas.
