John R. Semhric, age 73, of Russell Township, Ohio, passed away on March 12, 2026. A longtime resident of the community, he worked in electromechanics and was known for his love of music and humor. John enjoyed playing his guitar and harmonica for friends, telling jokes, and sharing quiet moments with the people he cherished most.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elsie Mae Semhric. John is survived by his beloved wife, Frances; his children, Angela Hayworth (Justin) and Joseph Betch (Meghann); his grandchildren, Amelia and JT Hayworth and Joey Betch Jr.; and his brothers, Donald and Douglas Semhric.
He will be remembered for the warmth and laughter he brought into the lives of those around him.
