Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Friday March 6, 2026, from 4-8PM. He will lie-in-state on Saturday March 7, 2026, from 10 AM until the services at 11AM at New Life Church, Petersburg, MI. Pastor Josh Ellis will officiate, burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.Born May 22, 1957, in Toledo, Ohio. John was the son of James and Marian (Winter) Judit. He was a 1975 Summerfield High School Graduate. John was a lifelong 5th generation family farmer at the family farm that was established in 1863 and worked 20 yrs at the Ida CO-OP. John was a member of multiple tractor associations, never missed a good tractor pull, loved Oliver Tractors and spending time with his grandnieces, Lucy, Nora and Maggie.Survivors include: niece, Genevieve (Frank) Huntley, brother-in-law, Tony Bognar and a sister, Mary (Mike) Foulke.
