John P Vescio

John P Vescio

March 17, 1947 March 14, 2026

John Patrick Vescio, born March 17, 1947, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, just days before his 79th birthday. The youngest of eight children born to Sam and Laura (Falbo) Vescio, John was known throughout his life for his deep love of family, generous spirit, and his ability to find joy in life’s simple pleasures.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Martha Lynn Vescio; his daughter Nicolette Marie and her husband Lou Cosentino, from his first marriage to Donna M. (Amidei) Vescio; and his daughter Jessica Patricia and her husband Phillip Barone, from his second marriage to Donna I. (Galfano) Vescio, who preceded him in death. He was also a devoted father to Martha’s children, Troy Spurlock and his wife Christie, and Jessica Spurlock Hansen. John took great pride in his role as grandfather to Annina, Dominic, Anthony, John, Nikolas, Stelle, Payton, Camden, and Autumn, and he remained a dearly loved uncle to many nieces and nephews.

John cherished time spent with those he loved, whether singing karaoke, fishing, playing cards, or hosting large family reunions. An avid Elvis fan, he found particular fulfillment in real estate investing and in his long career as an HVAC instructor at Triton College, where he mentored countless students. He was at his happiest surrounded by family, always with a cup of coffee in hand.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and friend by all whose lives he touched.
