John Fisher ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Eggers Funeral Home - Boiling Springs on Mar. 16, 2026.John Monroe Fisher III, age 77, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home surrounded by family.Born March 19, 1948, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, he was the son of the late John Monroe Fisher II and Adelaide McKain Fisher.John was a member of Beaumont Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of Fisher's Tree Service, where he spent many years working as a skilled tree cutter. He was known for his strong work ethic, his love for the outdoors, and his dedication to his craft. John also had a big sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. He enjoyed going to dirt track races, and vacationing at the beach and the mountains. Above all, he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time with them.Surviving are his daughters, Dawn Sisk (Allen) and Tonya Hobbs; son, Jackie Todd Fisher; sister, Joan Cook; grandchildren, Kaylee Spencer (Christopher) and Scottie Fisher; and great-grandchildren, Chloe Grace Spencer, Cash Lee Spencer, and Cruz Fisher.John was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Judy Ridings Fisher.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 PM on his birthday, March 19, 2026, in The Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs with Rev.
