August 22, 1958— March 12, 2026
Cass City, MI
John Michael Fitzpatrick, 67, of Cass City, passed away on March 12, 2026 at his home. Born on August 22, 1958 in London, Ontario, Canada to Maurice Joseph and Lillian Elizabeth (Pinkie) Fitzpatrick, he graduated from Centerline High School and became a master electrician. His career included work as an electrical contractor, as well as in refrigeration and heating, hydraulic repair, and construction.
John was a kind, quiet, and well-liked man who would do anything for anyone. An extremely hard worker, he found joy in tinkering, fixing, and building things. He valued knowledge and was always eager to learn more about the projects before him or any subject that captured his interest. He loved fishing and had recently discovered the pleasure of camping. While he often tried to tell jokes, watching his earnest attempts usually brought more laughter than the punchline itself. Above all, his greatest love was his family, and he cherished gathering with them, especially for cookouts.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline; his son, Aaron Fitzpatrick of Palm Dale, California; stepsons Donald (Tammy) Endert of Cass City, Ronald (Trish) Endert of Davison, and Jason (Saul) Endert of Bay City; stepdaughter Theresa (Robert) Jewell of Caro; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sisters Carolyn (Randy) McConnell of Renton, Washington, Mary (Joe) Spuckler of Plano, Texas, Norma Chandler of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Laura (Jim) Williams of Three Mile Bay, New York, and Lois (Milton) Ngope of Botswana, Africa; brother Roy (Theresa) Fitzpatrick of Davidsonville, Maryland; and nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
