John Marshall Beasley-Holton

John Marshall Beasley-Holton, 47, of Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. Born in Petersburg, Virginia on April 11, 1978, he was the son of the late Marshall Lee Beasley, Jr. and Donna Perkins Beasley. He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Ashley Hailey.

John shared a devoted marriage of 24 years with his husband, James Beasley-Holton. He is also survived by his brother, Steven Beasley (Kathryn); his sister, Florence Wells (Kenny); his stepsons, Justin Hailey, Jordan Holton, and Timothy Hailey; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

For 27 years, John worked in Human Resources for JCPenney, bringing steady commitment to his role. He lived a quiet, simple life and found gentle pleasure in spending his free time on the computer playing games, a hobby that offered him many peaceful hours of enjoyment.
