Warren, Jr., passed away peacefully in the company of family on March 4, 2026, at the age of 80, in his hometown of Miami, Florida.John was born on July 15, 1945, in Santa Cruz, California, to Esther M. Warren and John L. Warren, Sr. The young family moved to Miami shortly after the end of World War II. He graduated from Coral Gables Senior High School (Class of '63) and later attended Florida State University and the University of Florida, where he studied engineering until being hired as a pilot by Eastern Airlines around 1967.Later in life, John founded his general contracting company, Lyndol Development, in Orlando, Florida, where he lived for most of his life, caring for his family and practicing his Christian faith.He is survived by his two sons, Brant (Aracely) of La Paz, Mexico, and Daniel of Raleigh, North Carolina; and his much-loved granddaughter, Amelia. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas, and his sister, Sandra Adams, along with six nieces and nephews.A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
