John William LukaskoFeb 13, 1944 - Mar 11, 2026NorwalkJohn William Lukasko, 82, of Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Gaymont Nursing Home. He was born February 13, 1944, in St. Clairsville, to John R. and Anna L. (Sturm) Lukasko.John grew up in Lorain and South Amherst and graduated from South Amherst High School in 1962. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the National Guard. John began dating the love of his life, Marjorie J. (McDonough), March 1, 1968. The couple was married April 3, 1970, and shared 56 wonderful years together. John dedicated 44 years of service to Ford Motor Company in Lorain before retiring in 2006. He was known for his kindness, strong work ethic, and generosity toward others. John was a member of Norwalk American Legion Post 41, Wakeman Eagles, and Norwalk VFW Post 2743. In his spare time, John enjoyed boating, riding motorcycles, and taking drives in his Ford Mustang GT. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.John is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie J. Lukasko; his children, John J. (Dina) Lukasko, Robert L. (Karlee) Lukasko, William R. (Erica) Lukasko, and Caitlin J. (Craig) Dukes; his grandchildren, Lauren (Owen) Moffit, John Nicholas Lukasko, Caleb Lukasko, Anna Lukasko, Gabriel Lukasko, Emma Lukasko, Alaina Lukasko, Jack Dukes, William Lukasko, Ava Dukes, Nathan Dukes, and Liam Lukasko; his siblings, Pauline Grogan, Robert (Margaret) Lukasko, Linda (Richard) Keith, Nancy Kucharik (Greg Funk), and Bonnie Prasifka.John was preceded in passing by his parents, John R. and Anna L. (Sturm) Lukasko and brothers-in-law, Tim Grogan and John Kucharik.Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's name can be made to Norwalk Salvation Army, Norwalk Art Center, or Huron County Humane Society.Online condolences and expressions of sympathy can be made by visiting www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com
