He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis Lindgren Sr. and Sara Lindgren (Crump); his brother Richard; and his grandson Stevie. He is survived by: his wife Sue Lindgren; his children, Stephen Schultz (Tami), Dawn Pekar (Steven), Bonnie Johnson and Tara Wilburne (Albert); his brothers, William (Sue), Frank and Raymond; his grandchildren, John, Johnny (Andrea), Brittany (AJ), Zachary Joseph (Lexi), James (Sherley), Andrew, Amanda, Alexis and Jake; and his great grandchild Abraham.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Halpin - Bitecola Brookdale Funeral and Cremation Service (1284 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003).
