John Joseph Relic Jr., of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the age of 73.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Relic. John is survived by his son, John (Melissa) Relic, and his grandchildren, JJ and Claire Relic. He is also survived by his dear siblings, Clarence Relic, Teresa Tranckino, Marilyn (Steve) Lehn, and David (Marie) Relic.
A skilled electrician by trade, John was a longtime member of the local IBEW. He was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Redemptorist) Church in Kansas City, Missouri. He found great joy in watching sports, especially cheering on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Redemptorist Social Services Center in Kansas City.
