Mr. Willoughby was born on September 13, 1943 in Queens, NY the son of the late William and Elizabeth Broschart Willoughby. John had a love for anything with an engine. John’s heart belonged to anything with an engine. Whether he was wandering through car shows, lining up at the drag strip, or out on the open road on his motorcycle, he always had a smile on his face. When he wasn't chasing speed, he found peace on the water. He was happy to fish all day even if they weren't biting. Above all, John’s favorite way to spend time was sharing a great meal with the people he loved most.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Willoughby is preceded in death by his sister, Adele; father-in-law, Necomedes Sitcherita; and mother-in-law, Rosa Loder Sitcherita.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Josefina Willoughby of the home; sister, Diana McCabe of AZ; nephews, Shawn McCabe, Travis McCabe; niece, Rose; grandchildren, Joy Hermosa, Honey Grace, Emanuel Ace, Beatriz, Mark Joseph, Zachary, Jim Dominic, Rain Alexis, Luke Allistaire, Princess Rocheal; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hermenio, Enrique, Sotero, Lorna, Doroteo, Ma. Teresa, Zaldy; nieces and nephews-in-law, Jose Eric, Ana Mea, Mark Anthony, Sweden, Rose, Jim, Chloue, Rosenail, Castor, Jomarie, Jonnel, Joan, Jean, Jennylyn; and beloved pet, “Snowy”.
