John H. McGoldrick

John H. McGoldrick, 81, of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully at his home on March 12, 2026.

A dedicated husband, father, and man of deep devotion, John was a well-loved pillar of strength within his community. A lifelong Catholic and longtime member of Saint Genevieve Parish, he lived guided by unwavering faith, meeting every challenge with calm resolve and selfless service to his family, parish, and friends.

A proud Villanova alumnus, John remained an enthusiastic supporter of Villanova basketball and all Philadelphia sports teams. Each year he looked forward to traveling to Clearwater, Florida, for Phillies Spring Training. Closer to home, Ocean City, New Jersey, was his favorite place to spend warm, sunny days at the beach, enjoying fresh seafood by the water. Known for his sharp mind for business and lifelong thirst for knowledge, John was above all a kind and gentle soul who would do anything to help those he loved.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Susan, their children MaryJo and Peter, and his sister Miriam. He was predeceased by his eldest son Tim, with whom he is now reunited in God’s kingdom.
