John Kelly ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home - Springfield on Mar. 16, 2026."It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of John Gerard Kelly on March 13, 2026, at the age of 62. John was a hardworking father who loved his family and always shared his knowledge to better those around him.Born on March 16, 1963, in Jersey City, New Jersey, John grew up the only son of Jack and Joan Kelly and brother to five sisters Carol, Kathy, Mary, Janet, and Donna. Being the only brother to five sisters, it was known he had a lot of fights growing up.After serving in the Navy, he moved to Arizona and met Rebecca Lea Anthony, whom he married and had two sons, Cody James Kelly and Chase Donovan Kelly. His passions focused on real-estate, further educating himself, and spending time with his family. After the passing of his Rebecca, he then decided to move his family to his home state, New Jersey. There he started a business, built a strong foundation, and raised two exceptional boys who he loved with all his heart. He was often found relaxing on the beach with the woman he loved, and who made him very happy over the past 8 years, Josephine Torrisi. He will be remembered for making people laugh anywhere he went and for being the greatest dad in the world."A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 10 am at St. James the Apostle Church, 45 South Springfield Ave. Springfield, NJ.
